Free 11th Annual Fishing Derby

This is Big Walnut Conservation Club’s 10th annual fishing derby. It will be held at the one-acre pond on our property. Our intention is for the participants to benefit by being outside in nature for a while, escaping from the stresses of day-to-day life, engaging in learning an outdoor activity, meeting new friends and especially having fun. This event will be held yearly 9am – 1:30pm on the Saturday of Father’s Day weekend. We view this as a fun family and friends affair. We have some fishing poles to be given away to those who don’t have one, while they last. We’ll also have free hotdogs and drinks starting at 10:30. Sign-in at the picnic area on the left as you drive in.
