Learn to Shoot Shotgun: Trap April 2024Free Event
Time: Throughout the day – fill out time slots with the signup link below – Free Event

Introduction to shooting Trap as a shotgun sport. The event is for shooters or non-shooters who have or have-not shot Trap or are interested or curious. There is no cost for the event, shotgun shells (12 or 20 gauge) and targets will be supplied. Shotguns will be supplied as needed, however, you can also bring your own if you have one. Safety glasses and ear protection are provided or bring your own. These events will be repeated in the fall. Each time slot will consist of a classroom-style safety course for handling a shotgun and instruction on how Trap is shot, followed by actually shooting a round of Trap. Approximate time for entire event is 1.5 hours.

Introduction to shooting Skeet as a shotgun sport. The event is for shooters or non-shooters who have or have-not shot Skeet and are interested or curious. There is no cost for the event, shotgun shells (12 or 20 gauge) and targets will be supplied. Shotguns will be supplied as needed, however, you can bring your own if available. Safety glasses and ear protection are provided or bring your own. Each time slot will consist of a classroom-style safety course for handling a shotgun and instruction on how Skeet is shot, followed by actually shooting a round of Skeet. Approximate time for entire event is 1.5 hours.

Time: Throughout the day – fill out time slots with the signup link below

Introduction to shooting Sporting Clays as a shotgun sport. The event is for shooters or non-shooters who have or have-not shot Sporting Clays or are interested or curious. There is no cost for the event, shotgun shells (12 or 20 gauge) and targets will be supplied. Shotguns will be supplied as needed, however, you can also bring your own. Each time slot will consist of a classroom-style safety course for handling a shotgun and instruction on how Sporting Clays is shot, followed by actually shooting a few stations of Sporting Clays. Approximate time for entire event is 1.5 hours.

Intro to Rifleyouth and adult – May 2024 – Free Event
Time: 9;00am – 3:00pm | Approximately 3hr classroom and 3hr shooting time

Introduction to rifle shooting using 22 caliber for youth age 11+ and adults. This event is for shooters or non-shooters who are interested or curious. There is no cost for the event, 22 ammo and targets will be supplied. Rifles will be supplied. Safety equipment for eye and hearing protection will be available; you are welcome to bring your own. Each time slot will consist of a classroom-style safety course, classroom intro to rifle basic operations and instruction on how a 22 caliber rifle is shot, followed by actual range time

Pistol Education and Safety: May 2024 – Free Event
Time: Time: 9;00am – 3:00pm | Approximately 3hr classroom and 3hr shooting time

Introduction to safe pistol shooting using 22 caliber. This event is for shooters or non-shooters who are interested or curious. There is no cost for the event, 22 ammo and targets will be supplied. Handguns will be supplied. Safety equipment for eye and hearing protection will be available; you are welcome to bring your own. Each time slot will consist of a classroom-style safety course, classroom intro to pistol basic operations and instruction on how a 22 caliber pistol is shot, followed by actually shooting the 22 pistol. Couples welcome. Parent and student pairs welcome.
